Red-brown garnet matrix is a substrate for a dense coating of excellent octahedral hausmannite crystals about 0.5 cm across. Each hausmannite octahedron is covered by parasitic tiny octahedra giving them a rough texture. Overall in excellent condition. Ex-Bahmann collection.
