This is a beautiful taupe smoky with a gemmy central crystal coming out of a slightly darker cluster of crystals. This is not a pristine specimen but the damage is on the perifery of the specimen. The most significant crystals are in fine condition. The specific locality information comes from a label painted on the bottom of the specimen. Some suggest that this piece is from a museum, but there is nothing to substantiate that. A specimen number of 420 is also on the label. |
